India’s Patriarchy Is Not a Relic of the Past. It Is Still Our Present
From unequal domestic labour and intimate-partner violence to political impunity, patriarchy remains embedded in India’s everyday institutions.

I’ve always been curious about the world around me, but never particularly interested in simply observing it. I like creating things, questioning things, taking ideas apart, putting new ones together, and getting involved when I believe something can be better. 👀
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to do quite a few things I genuinely enjoy: work in advertising, create things, write, speak, build Saura Labs, get involved in social causes and, increasingly, be a very vocal participant in politics and activism.
It’s been quite a journey so far, from growing up in India to spending years in advertising, moving to Toronto, starting something of my own and finding more time and courage to speak publicly about the things I believe in.
I’m a democratic socialist, an unapologetic optimist, and probably someone who still believes a little too strongly that we can leave the world better than we found it.
I hope some of what I create, write or fight for is useful to you too. :)

Marketing for founder-led brands.
I built Saura Labs around something I care deeply about: helping founder-led brands grow without sanding away the personality that made people care about them in the first place. Too much marketing either becomes creatively polished but commercially disconnected (great work that never really moves the business), or so performance-driven that every brand starts sounding the same (the same hooks, funnels and ad templates repeated everywhere). I wanted Saura to sit in the middle: close enough to the founder to understand what they believe, what makes the business different and why it exists, while still bringing the strategy, creativity, technology and growth discipline needed to turn that into a brand people actually choose.
Podcasts, conversations and interviews — on business, politics, technology and whatever else is on my mind.
